One Battle After Another is one of 2025’s best films.

Superman is even better the second and third times around. James Gunn has delivered an epically entertaining adventure that lives up to the hero who inspired it.

For all its volcanic outbursts and aggressive proclamations of overwhelming victory, HIM fails to score.

As last acts are concerned, few are as proudly euphoric as this one, all of which makes this closing chapter of Downton Abbey a truly grand finale.
