Kids may have the time of their lives watching The Super Mario Bros. Movie, but for most adults, this is game over.

For fans of each of treasure hunter Nathan Drake’s incredibly convoluted adventures, Uncharted is likely going to feel like a bona fide disaster.

Werewolves Within is likely going to make my 2021 top ten list. It’s great.

If Mortal Kombat lived up to the beauteous butchery of its bookends, this would be the greatest video game-to-film adaptation ever made.

Monster Hunter is exactly what you think it is going to be, nothing more, and certainly nothing less, and I’m okay with that.

Resident Evil: Extinction is an old-fashioned, soda-slurping, popcorn-munching, R-rated good time and, the last time I checked, the laws against that sort of thing happily registered between zero and none.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse is pretty awful, and if this ends up being game over for the budding franchise I wouldn’t be at all surprised.
