There is something undeniably wholesome about The Bob’s Burgers Movie, the warmth, love, and positivity that it exudes filling my soul with joy even if I knew some of the references and inside jokes were flying over my head.

The Bad Guys is an awful lot of fun.

Turning Red is a miracle of storytelling genius. It will be one of the best films of 2022. Heck, it may turn out to be one of the best I’ve seen the remainder of this decade.

I really didn’t like The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild, not at all, and I can’t wait to never think about it ever again.

Encanto earns its tears, this aria to familial togetherness a loving concerto of community I’d happily hum along with whenever the opportunity to do so might arise.

Ron’s Gone Wrong’s points are seldom made with any certainty, and everything builds to a strange conclusion that comes perilously close to being the literal definition of “mixed messaging.”

I did not like The Addams Family 2. I did not like it at all. And that’s all I have to say on the matter.

Some movies exist as if solely to make the viewer feel good. They’re not masterpieces. That’s Luca, and that’s wonderful.

Spirit Untamed is a lot easier to respect than it is to enjoy, and unlike its predecessor, this isn’t a piece of feel-good animation I’m likely to revisit anytime soon.
