My inner tween went wild on multiple occasions, and if I’d been introduced to Freddy Fazbear and his pals as a kid, it’s safe to say we’d have been horror-loving friends for life.

The primary reason the reasonably strong performances don’t elevate Gran Turismo to being worthwhile is that other than for a couple of noteworthy sequences (including one stunning crash), the racing sequences are not very good.

Resident Evil: Extinction is an old-fashioned, soda-slurping, popcorn-munching, R-rated good time and, the last time I checked, the laws against that sort of thing happily registered between zero and none.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse is pretty awful, and if this ends up being game over for the budding franchise I wouldn’t be at all surprised.
